Emergency Heater Parts: Inventory Management Control Program
Thermal Solutions of Texas and our manufacturers build and stock hundreds of thousands of special configured parts for heaters that are available for same day shipment. However, some items can take up to 12 weeks or longer to manufacture.
With a little preparation, it is very easy for us to itemize your parts. Instead of having to measure a partially working, hot heater on line or in a vessel, wouldn’t it be easier to know that we have the item number of our parts located on the shell, face or leads of all your items and with one quick phone call we can pull up a digital picture and measurements and either have it in our stock or get it on order?
Many years ago, Thermal Solutions established an IMC (Inventory Management Control) program that will allow us to better manage your inventory needs, both stock and special heating and control products. This is how it works:
Thermal Solutions of Texas team members come into your facility and work closely with your tool room supervisor to look at your quantities on hand and the high quantity usage and long lead time items.
We catalog and measure every part that we provide and take a digital picture of each item and put it in a hardback notebook, as well as an Excel document.
We assign your internal part number and our internal part number to each item and we document usage to make sure you don’t get in a down situation.
This makes it easier for you and us to manage your inventory needs. We put our stickers on inventory shelves and cabinets with our heater hotline number 866-351-HEAT, for ease of ordering.
Our 24-hour emergency heater hotline number is available to call to get your previously decided stock items out of our climate controlled warehouse. We will be glad to stock your hard-to-get items at our corporate headquarters in Tomball, Texas, or our warehouse facility in Pasadena, Texas.
